Like much of the country we’ve been badly hit by the weather but, as you can see in this picture taken at 7:30am on 3rd March, drifting snow made the long drive up to Mellington Hall from the main road well nigh impassable although it’s now cleared to the Hotel and passable with care. However, we think it’s best if caravanners avoid Mellington this week-end – not east because there’s no water supply from frozen pipes!
For the Hotel of course it’s business as usual. The fires are lit and the kitchen is open, in fact, all we need is you. Whose for Sunday lunch followed by a snooze in front of a roaring fire like this one?
