The Chimney Pots are now being removed from the roof of the hotel. Its certainly all happening here today at Mellington Hall Holiday Home Park. Rather you than me in that basket Kevin Pugh!
The clock tower has now been resurrected into its original place on top of the stable block roof. We are thrilled with the outcome and are really looking forward to hearing it chime once more. I think we can feel a Christening Ceremony coming on!

Painstakingly, the clock tower is being dismantled to reveal a very nice surprise – a large bell that would have chimed many years ago! It would be great to see this clock restored and working again.
The renovation work is progressing quickly and efficiently at Mellington Hall thanks to Craven Building Contractors from Bucknell and Kevin Pugh and co-workers from Churchstoke. Keep up the good work guys!

Mellington Hall Holiday Home Park is bursting with the most amazing colours as the Autumn unfolds. There is no better place to be than in amongst the golds, reds and yellows of our stunning Park and woodland this time of year.
Work has now commenced on the stable and Courtyard Cottage roof. Hopefully it will be finished within a three month period.
We are very pleased to announce that Alex has passed his City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting (QFC). We done Alex – a very handy qualification to have here at Mellington Hall Holiday Home Park!

The next phase of work is about to commence on the side elevation of Mellington Hall Hotel, so up goes the second lot of scaffolding!
We have had the old oil tank down by the shower block replaced by a brand spanking new one!
The first of the two Pinehurst Luxury Lodges has now arrived at Mellington Hall, slowing winding it’s way through the Park to its final resting place, on its new concrete pad. We have some very lucky customers! All we need now is for them to be joined together.
Following on from the Woodside Walk pathways in the woods, Alex has been re-surfacing the pathways down from the shower block to the touring park. Looks great Alex – lovely fresh wood chip!
The dead trees have now been removed from the pathway from the shower block to the pool, soon to be replaced!
The scaffolding is up on the stable block to secure and repair the roof and resurrect the clock tower. Our aim eventually is to renovate the stable block into exclusive holiday lets and to refurbish the tower to its former glory.
